Dispute: Seller Challege Flow
What is the customer problem
Today, when a seller is served a dispute and they choose to challenge it, they are limited to uploading one small file as evidence. This is extremely frustrating and feels hopeless, since the constraints on providing their defense significantly reduces their chance of winning.
How are we trying to solve this problem?
We are solving this problem in three primary ways.
Including a free text form for the seller to give a written explanation of their side.
Providing an in-page help link that opens an educational modal with success tips.
Increasing the number and type of files the seller can upload as evidence.
What are the high-level design deliverables and when do we need to solve it?
High-fidelity working mocks and a prototype for dWeb and mWeb. Handoff is starting at the end of Q2 and will continue throughout Q3.
